Pursuant to local court rules, open enrollment period for attorneys wishing to apply for the Misdemeanor Criminal Appointed Counsel List is twice per year.

This request for submissions is for new applicants only! If you are already on the list, there is no reason to reapply unless one or more of the following needs updated:
• Insurance
• CLE Information
• Contact information

Again, if you submitted an application for the Fall 2021 or Winter 2022 cycle and were approved, you do not need to reapply.

If you are not a member and would like to be on the list you should apply now.

All relevant information regarding CLE opportunities, requirements, and application instructions, as well as the online application, are available on the Akron Municipal Court website under "News."

If you wish to apply, please fill out the attached online application and e-mail it to attyappointments@akronohio.gov along with your CLE transcript, proof of liability insurance and photograph by August 31, 2022.

Please remember that only applications submitted through this online process will be considered for inclusion on the list.
