Pursuant to local court rules, open enrollment period for attorneys wishing to apply for the Misdemeanor Criminal Appointed Counsel List is twice per year. 

NEW THIS ENROLLMENT PERIOD: This application is for appointments in the Barberton Municipal Court as well.

If you submitted an application in 2022 and were approved, you do not need to reapply.

If you wish to apply, please fill out the attached online application and e-mail it to attyappointments@akronohio.gov by March 1, 2023.

If you are currently on the Misdemeanor Criminal Appointment Counsel List and wish to be removed, e-mail us at attyappointments@akronohio.gov.

Please remember that only applications submitted through this online process will be considered for inclusion on the list.
