Akron Municipal Court Staff Member Named to 2019 “30 For The Future” Class

Nicole Hagy, Akron Municipal Court Community Outreach and Grants Coordinator, has been named to the Greater Akron Chamber’s “30 For The Future” Class for 2019.

Hagy is one of thirty area young professionals selected based on community involvement and accomplishments in the workplace. In her role, she serves as the primary contact for local media, pursues grant dollars to fund Court programs and projects and creates content for the Court’s social media accounts.

In addition to her responsibilities with the Akron Municipal Court, Hagy is a member of the Board of Directors for the Victim Assistance Program.

Hagy is a 2003 graduate of Lake High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Walsh University in 2007 and a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University in 2013. She joined the Akron Municipal Court in 2017.

All thirty award recipients will be honored at a celebration taking place Thursday, September 19, 2019 at The NEW Center located on Northeast Ohio Medical University’s campus in Rootstown.
