The Akron Municipal Court will partner with the newly opened Bricks & Minifigs in Fairlawn for weddings on Monday, March 2, 2026.

Complete details are below:

• Bricks & Minifigs | Rosemont Commons | 3750 W. Market St., Unit N in Fairlawn
• Monday, March 2, 2026 from Noon to 1:00 p.m.
• This is an indoor venue.
• Weddings will take place under an arch created from LEGO® bricks.
• Akron Municipal Court Judge Ron Cable will serve as the officiant.    

Appointments for weddings are first-come, first-serve and must be scheduled and paid for before the date of the ceremony.

Prior to the ceremony, couples must obtain a marriage license from Summit County Probate Court. They then must pay a cash-only ceremony fee at the Akron Municipal Courthouse, located at 172 S. Broadway St. in Downtown Akron between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The fee is based on where the couple resides and whether it is in the court’s jurisdiction, which includes Akron, Fairlawn, Bath, Richfield, Springfield Township, Lakemore and the Summit County portion of Mogadore.

It is suggested to contact the Akron Municipal Court’s Service Bailiffs’ Office at (330) 375-2592 to ensure space is still available before obtaining a marriage license or for any further questions regarding scheduling.

Bricks & Minifigs has more than 300 stores nationwide and is officially recognized by LEGO® as an official reseller. The Fairlawn location opened last month.
