Pursuant to local court rules, open enrollment period for attorneys wishing to apply for the Misdemeanor Criminal Appointed Counsel List is twice per year. For 2021, the open enrollment period for the misdemeanor appointed counsel list will begin September 20, 2021 and end October 20, 2021.

If you are not a member and would like to be on the list you should apply now. If you applied and joined the list in 2019, you need to re-apply now to remain on the list.

All relevant information regarding CLE opportunities, requirements, and application instructions, as well as the online application, are available at http://www.akronmunicipalcourt.org/news.

If you wish to apply, please fill out the attached online application and e-mail it to attyappointments@akronohio.gov along with your CLE transcript, proof of liability insurance and photograph by October 20, 2021.

Please remember that only applications submitted through this online process will be considered for inclusion on the list.
